Overton to meet McLeod

While everyone else is preparing for graduation and the end of school, the Overton Mustangs are advancing to the UIL Class 1A regional quarterfinals.

The Mustangs (20-3 on the season to date) are facing McLeod this week in the quarterfinals. Overton faces McLeod in Harmony for a best of 3 series beginning this Friday at 6 PM. The second game will be Saturday at 2 PM, in Harmony as well. The third game, if needed, will be in Harmony on Saturday.

The Mustangs beat Avery in a best-of-three series last week to advance.

Both Overton and McLeod had first-round byes, because both programs won their respective district titles.
