CLARENCE "SLIM" DAVIS

Services for Clarence Davis, 84, of Kilgore will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Post Oak Cemetery in Kilgore. Arrangements are under the direction of Victory Funeral Services.

Clarence Davis, Jr. was born on January 28, 1924 to the parentage of Clarence and Verna Roach Davis in Kilgore.

He attended Kilgore Public Schools.

His parents, wife, Gracie Glaspie and two brothers, Willard B. Davis and Leonard Davis preceded him in death.

Clarence is survived by his daugher, Katherine Brittain of Overton; son, Ricky Glaspie of Kilgore; step-children, Carolyn Jones of Kilgore, Dora Brittain of Longview, and Claudius Brittain, Jr. of Aurora, CO; thirteen grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be Tuesday, May 6, 2008 starting at noon at Victory Funeral Services.
