Mr. Caldwell brought a variety of the wonderful costumes with him, and explained how each one is painstakingly made in the workrooms of the theatre. Beautiful capes, doublets, hats and even underwear is all made especially for the play in which they will be used. The workroom uses old buttons, old jewelry, and clothes that can be altered for these stunning garments. Mr. Caldwell mentioned the upcoming Queen's Tea, to be held July 15 at the Crimm Mansion. Prizes given for the best hat, the cost is $40.00. Tickets for the Shakespeare Festival will be available on Saturday, Mary 31. Phone 903-983-8119.
