May wedding for Ibison and Vessels

Mary Ibison and Gregory Vessels

Jim and Elsa Ibison of Fort Smith, Arkansas announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Jill Ibison, to Gregory Carl Vessels, both of Dallas.

Mr. Vessels is the son of Bill and Kay Vessels of Sherman, Texas.

A 6:30 p.m. ceremony is planned May 17 at the Dallas Museum of Art in Dallas.

Ms. Ibison is the granddaughter of the late L.T. and Mary Garrett, the late Robert Ibison and the late Delia Ibison. A graduate of Southside High School in Fort Smith, she has a bachelor's degree in interior design from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She is employed by Corgan Associates Inc. in Dallas.Mr. Vessels is also the son of the late Pamela Vessels. He is the grandson of Ida Smith of Kilgore, Texas, and the late George Smith, and the late Carl and Hazel Vessels. A graduate of Sherman High School in Sherman, Texas, he has a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Texas in Austin. He is employed by Corgan Associates Inc. in Dallas.
