GLENN HAMILTON

Services for Glenn Hamilton, 71, of Kilgore will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 5, 2008 at the Chapel at Rader Funeral Home with the Reverends David Faircloth and James Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in the Kilgore Memorial Gardens. Mr. Hamilton died Friday, May 2, 2008.

Mr. Hamilton was born August 26, 1936 in Troup, Texas. He was a member of the New Horizon Church of God in Longview. Mr. Hamilton was retired from Good Year Tire Company after 30 years of service. He loved gardening, working cattle and being outdoors. Mr. Hamilton served in the United States Army. His family and many loving friends will miss him.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Helen Hamilton of Kilgore; five daughters and sons-in-law Elizabeth and Rey Zulueta of Gladewater, Frankie Lynn and Mike Brown of Gladewater, Teresa Lynn and Jim Brumley of Tyler, Susan Marie and John Limberg of Garland and Carolyn and David Simoneax of Tyler; three sons and a daughterin law John Dewayne Hays of Kilgore, Billy Joe Hays of Gladewater and Michael Glenn and Jana Morgan of Whitehouse; one brother; three sisters; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Sunday afternoon between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m.
