Lions Club holds benefit for handicapped children

East Texas Lions Clubs will present the Diabetic and Handicapped Children Benefit on May 31.

This all-day event will include a horse show, entertainment, games and food.

This family event will include guest appearances by Congressman Louie Gohmert, actor Robert Fuller - who starred in Wagon Train in the 1960s - and Texas Ranger Glenn Elliott.

The gates open at 8 a.m. on May 31 at the Sacred Spur Ranch. Tickets are $10 per person for the day.

There will be a steak dinner and dance as the evening attraction at 7:30 p.m. A separate ticket is required for the dinner.
