RAIN, RAIN, go away! All my weekend plans seem to be drowning right at this moment and it looks like the grass will grow even taller yet, before I manage to mow my lawn, and now I am hearing tornado sirens to boot!

Barbara Garrett, chamber secretary, gave me a new CD this week, The Best of Edith Piaff. Some of you already know I was inspired to cut my bangs short after seeing "La Vie En Rose," which followed the french crooners tragic life from beginning to end. For a month I greeted people with Bonjour and said Au Revior instead of goodbye. Barbara rekindled le français en moi and made my week.
