"Crazy 'Bout Patsy," a musical tribute to Patsy Cline, will be presented here Tuesday, May 6.

Kilgore Historical Preservation Foundation is bringing Sherrill Douglas' national production to Dodson Auditorium. Tickets for the production go on sale tomorrow.

Sherrill Douglas is recognized worldwide as the top impersonator of and tribute artist for Patsy Cline, according to KHPF. Sherrill will perform her musical tribute to Cline, "Crazy 'bout Patsy" for the first time in East Texas.

Patsy Cline was chosen by the Country Music Channel as the number one female country recording artist of all time. Douglas will perform all of Patsy's beloved hits like, "Crazy," "Walkin' After Midnight," "She's Got You," "I Fall to Pieces," "Sweet Dreams" and many more.

Sherrill's recent credits for this show include many nationwide sell-outs at theaters and casinos like the Tropicana (Atlantic

City), Hard Rock, Sam's Town, Isle of Capri. Her fouroctave range and velvetysmooth, delivery of Cline favorites will make this a lifelong memory.

The Kilgore Bulldog baseball team heads to the first round of the playoffs on Friday against Sulphur Springs. The game starts at 7 p.m. at Sulphur Springs High School. The playoff is a one game, winner take all event. The winner advances and the loser goes home. Let's wish the team luck and for those who can make the trip, Danny Sharp will be the starting pitcher.
