VIRGINIA BELL DARDEN

Virginia Bell Darden, 76, born January 5, 1932, in Idabel, Oklahoma, to Rancie and Virgie Young Owens, passed from this life on April 21, 2008 in Kilgore, Texas. Mrs. Darden loved to travel especially camping. She is preceded in death by her parents. Virginia leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 57 years, Charley Darden; her son, Chuck Darden; grandchildren, Haley Darden; Ashley Darden; and Falyn Darden; as well as her sisters Esma Johnston and husband Jack; and Margaret Threadgill. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Lakeview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2008 at the Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Dudley Paisance officiating. Entombment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of the usual floral tributes, the family suggests memorial considerations be made to the Laird Hill Methodist Church. All services are under the direction of Lakeview Funeral Home
