Another good week in the KSA
KILGORE SOCCER ASSOCIATION ROUNDUP

EDITOR'S NOTE: This is a roundup from last weekend's action of the Kilgore Soccer Association (KSA). This roundup comes from reports submitted by league coaches. Names are spelled here in the News Herald exactly as they are printed. Reports with no first name, or incomplete names, will not be included. All reports should have complete names listed, or they won't appear in the roundup.

Games are played Saturdays at the sports complex on Highway 135. This roundup will normally run on Thursdays in the News Herald sports section. Coaches reports are due by 5 p.m. on Monday. You may bring them by the office at 610 East Main Street, or fax them to (903) 984-7462. You may also e-mail them to Mitch at sports@kilgorenewsherald.com- Reports will not be taken over the phone.

Under-6 girls

• Chic Chicks vs. Tinkerbells: Madison Alford, Lexy Smith, Megan Langford, and Hannah Howell all scored for the Chic Chicks. Chloe Whiplle had an assist, as well. Top defenders were Gracie Tharp, Erin Yancy and Madison Roach. The team is coached by Rita Whipple, who said her team played with good teamwork and did a great job, and by Bobby Tharp, and sponsored by Vermeer.

Under-8 boys

• F.C. Flames vs. Axiom Fire: For the Flames, Maison Landaverde scored. Other offensive standouts were Alexis Castillo, Raul Cedillo, Mason Cole and Connor Quinlan. Michael Raymond did a nice job at goalie for coaches Larry Quinlan and Dion Deshazer. The team is sponsored by Martin Gas.

The Axiom Fire had goals scored by Johnny Estrella and Treadrick Clayton. Caleb Bates, Daniel Wood, Caden Noah and Austin Gibson were other offensive standouts, and top defenders included Hunter Bonnette and Khalon Clayton, as well as goalie Brian Davis. The Axiom Fire is coached by Jason and Teresa Lopez, and sponsored by Perry D. Reed and Company.

Under-10 girls

• Lady Tigers vs. Mias: Top offensive players for coach Brad Provance's Lady Tigers were Taylor Black, Janie Midkiff, and Emily Nutt. Gauge Lindsey was the team's goalkeeper, and defensive standouts were Kayley Pyle, Alycia Ballard and Geana Seekings.

Under-10 boys

• Demons vs. unnamed opponent: Jacob Mobbs scored five goals for the Demons. Also scoring for the team were Cameron Ott, David Solis, and Austin Word. Be'la Free, Jesse Savala, Ren Reynolds, Angel Peralez, Kyler Yancy, goalie Jerrod Sosa, and Dontay King were other standouts in the game for the Demons, as many of them had shots on goal. The Demons are coached by Mason Reynolds, and sponsored by C.C. Forbes.
