The Kilgore Rotary Club has honored student athletes each year since 1986. Each student receives a gift from the club as well as a cash scholarship to help them further their studies. The banquet was the idea of Richard Rorschach, a Rotarian, who attended the Houston Rotary Club's presentation of a collegiate football award and wanted to bring something similar to Kilgore. |
