GENE PEPPER

Funeral services for Mr. Gene Pepper, 73, of Jefferson were Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore with Rev. Mike Gribble officiating. Burial followed at Chalk Hill Cemetery.

Gene was born February 23, 1935 in Chalk Hill, son of the late Waymon Douglas and Ollie Mae Lane Pepper. He passed away at his home Saturday, April 19, 2008. He retired after many years in the Oil Industry.

He is survived by his daughters, Gereldene Pepper of Longview, Gail and husband Tim Crow of White Oak; son and daughterin- law, Glen and Barbara Pepper of Jefferson; brothers, Bob Pepper of Longview, James Pepper of Lake Fork, Charlie Pepper of Overton and Doug Pepper of Kilgore; sister, Juanita Norris of Leveret's Chapel; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and mother of his children Edna Kirl; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Ruby Whiteside.

Pallbearers will be David Pepper, Clifford Pepper Scott Pepper, Jerry Norris, Chris Norris and Bobby Babcock.
