SHANNON UTZMAN GILLEY

Services for Shannon Gilley, 38, of Kilgore will be 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Dodson Auditorium at Kilgore College with the Reverends Bill Blanks and Charlotte Austin officiating. Private family committal service will take place in the Utzman Cemetery. Mrs. Gilley died Sunday, April 20, 2008.

Shannon was born October 23, 1969 in Kilgore, Texas to the late Joyce and Sam Utzman. She grew up in Kilgore and was a 1988 graduate of Kilgore High School. Shannon was a member of the First Christian Church. She was a teacher with the Kilgore Independent School District.

Shannon is survived by her husband Shane Gilley of Kilgore; two children Hannah and Luke Gilley of Kilgore; brother Steve Bruce of Henderson; two aunts; sister-inlaw and brother-in-law, Shauna and Clarence Gage of Kilgore; father-in-law Andy Gilley of Kilgore; mother-inlaw and father-in-law Debbie and Frank Rigg of Long Lane, Missouri several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving family and friends.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Gilley Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o The First Christian Church, 609 E. Main St., Kilgore, Texas 75662 or the First Christian Church Memorial Fund.

Pallbearers will be Terry Mabe, Josh Gage, Bruce Davis, Scott Brown, Jacob Gage & Richard Utzman.
