GENE PEPPER

Funeral services for Mr. Gene Pepper, 73, of Jefferson will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore with Reverend Mike Gribble officiating. Burial will follow at Chalk Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:OO P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Gene was born February 23, 1935 in Chalk Hill, Texas son of the late Waymon Douglas and Ollie Mae Lane Pepper. He passed away at his home Saturday, April 19, 2008. He retired after many years in the Oil Industry. Gene was and avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his daughters, Gereldene Pepper of Longview, Gail and husband Tim Crow of White Oak; son and daughterin- law, Glen and Barbara Pepper of Jefferson; brothers, Bob Pepper of Longview, James Pepper of Lake Fork, Charlie Pepper of Overton and Doug Pepper of Kilgore; sister, Juanita Norris of Leveret's Chapel; grandchildren, Amanda Kincaid and husband Staff Sergeant Shannon Kincaid of Granbury, Victoria Beckett and husband Steven of Longview, Tyler Hudgens of Valley Mills, Jay Pepper of Jefferson and Camryn Pepper of Jefferson; great grandchildren, Korbin Sanford, Khristian Jolliff, Janee Davis, Austyn Marshall and Rylee Kincaid; and mother of his children Edna Kirl; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Ruby Whiteside.

Pallbearers will be David Pepper, Clifford Pepper Scott Pepper, Jerry Norris, Chris Norris and Bobby Babcock.
