LEOPAL BREWER

Services for Leopal Brewer, 77, of Kilgore will be ten a.m., Monday, April 21, 2008 at Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charlotte Austin, John Austin and Reverend Buddy Duggins officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Cemetery. Mrs. Brewer died Saturday, April 19, 2008 in Tyler, Texas.

She was born November 29, 1930 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Mrs. Brewer grew up in West Texas and was a graduate of Annona High School. She married Johnnie Brewer July 17, 1948. Mrs. Brewer was a telephone operator. Their family moved to Kilgore in the early 1990's. She was a very active member of Danville Methodist Church where she served as a trustee and enjoyed the Ladies Quilting Guild. Mrs. Brewer was a loving person who gave of herself to others. She received gratification from working in her yard.

Mrs. Brewer is survived by her husband of 60 years, Johnnie Brewer of Kilgore; a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Robert Welch of Kilgore; a granddaughter, Marissa Welch of Dallas; a sister, Louise Tillman of Kilgore; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Sunday afternoon between two and four p.m.
