KC offers full slate of summer classes
Kilgore College is offering more than 300 sections of classes this summer, including five mini-semesters, which allow students to earn three college credits in as little as 12 class days. KC will also offer several Web-based courses this summer.

"We are very excited to offer a wide variety of summer classes to meet the busy schedules of our students," said Staci Martin, registrar. "Summer classes at Kilgore College are also a great opportunity for East Texas students returning home for the summer from other colleges to pick up university credit and not have to pay university prices."

Summer school registration for current and returning students began April 14 and new students will begin registering April 21. Martin said she encourages students to enroll as early as possible to ensure placement in desired classes.

Summer I classes will be held June 2 - July 3, and Summer II courses will run from July 7 - August 7. The early registration payment deadline for Summer I is midnight, May 7, and midnight June 25 for Summer II.

Students can register either in person or online. Students can register at the KC-Longview campus as long as they are taking at least one class in Longview. To register online, visit www.kilgore.edu and click on the "Campus Connect" link.

For more information, visit the KC Counseling Center on the second floor of the Devall Student Center on the KC campus, visit KC-Longview, or call the KC Counseling Center at (903) 983-8206 or KCLongview at (903) 753-2642.
