Hurry, hurry! We've got to get that done! Don't forget to go there! We've got big plans! Do you get all caught up in all that's going on, and all that needs to get done?

As we all get in a jumble of everyday life, you know how easy it is for us to get all wrapped up! Martha, in Luke 10:38-42, was reminded of not getting too wrapped up in all the work. Martha was busy working and getting things ready. The food, the table, her clothes, cleaning the house, etc... but Mary, her sister, was sitting at Jesus' feet listening and learning! Martha was like, What are you doing? Get up and help me out! She said, "Lord, don't you care that she has left me to do all this by myself, and she is just sitting there listening?" Jesus said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset. She is doing what is better."

We live in a hurry, busy, fast, "get that done now" world. How about we try to become more like Mary. Let's try to remember that God is there waiting for us to sit at His feet to learn, listen, talk, and worship our Father! Through this next week, remember that God loves you so much and wants you! When we sit with our Father, He will let the rest just fall into place. Trust Him!

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5- 6

Prayer: Dear Lord, please help us to not forget You and not to get so wrapped up in everyday life. Help us to trust in You and let You in on our lives! In Jesus' name, Amen.
