JOHN WESLEY RAY

Memorial services for John Wesley Ray, 60, of Kilgore will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 13, 2008 at the Old Family Home place seven miles south of Kilgore on Hwy 259 at the intersection of F.M. 918. Mr. Ray donated his body to University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Mr. Ray passed away Saturday, April 5, 2008 in Kilgore.

Mr. Ray was born July 10, 1947 in Nacogdoches, to the late Tom K. and Irene Frances Ray. Mr. Ray was a proud 28-year pin holder of Alcoholic's Anonymous.

Mr. Ray is survived by his son John Kindley Ray of Galveston; three step-children Jody Ford of Troup, Melodee Lower and Emmalee Lower of Troup; two grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law Charles and Angela Ray of Kilgore and Delbert Vaught of Tyler; sister and brother-in-law Rose and Earnest McFadin of Kilgore; very special great nieces and nephews; special friends; numerous nieces and nephews as well as many other loving family and friends.

His parents, and a sister Frances Vaught precede Mr. Ray in death.
