Tomorrow is Make Kilgore Shine Day. Residents of Kilgore are so fortunate to live in a city where there exists the commitment of hundreds of volunteers working to preserve our environment by keeping it clean, healthy, and beautiful by picking up litter and remembering to put trash where it belongs. Joe T. Parker, Kilgore mayor, proclaimed April 12 Make Kilgore Shine Day in conjunction with Kilgore Improvement & Beautification Association (KIBA) efforts to clean up the city. KIBA assists the City of Kilgore in litter reduction, environmental education, and beautification through volunteer supported programs such as Adopt-a-Location, Texas Recycles Day, Texas Trash Off, and the Great

American Clean-up. KIBA has issued a challenge to all individuals, businesses, schools, churches, and organizations to participate in a Spring clean-up and beautification campaign for all business and residential areas of our city during "Make Kilgore Shine," tomorrow. +++ Has anyone read Three Cups of Tea?
