MYRTIS BAIRD GRAHAM
She was born September 5, 1910 in Keithville, Louisiana. Mrs. Graham was a graduate of Stonewall High School. She was employed by International Harvester in Shreveport. The Bairds moved to Kilgore in 1934. Myrtis Baird Graham worked for the city of Kilgore Water Department. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church where she attended the Ruth Sunday School Class. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very special to her. Mrs. Graham is survived by her daughter, Linda Dickerson of Tyler; son and daughter in-law, Jim and Barbara Baird of Windthorst, Texas; grandchildren, Craig and Debbie Dickerson of Tyler, Keith and Arlene Dickerson of McKinney, Lynn Dickerson of Tyler, Leslie and Bill Vavra of Alvin, Felice Baird of Windthorst; great-grandchildren, Nicole and Chelsea Dickerson, Audrey and Sara Bieniek, Charlie Dickerson, Kristin Plyant, Neal Olsen, Joseph, Julie and Jena Baird, Stewart and Sean Vavra; one great-grandchild, Eleanor Olsen of Portland, Oregaon; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Saturday between noon and one-thirty p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Texas Baptist Children's Home, 1101 North Mays, Round Rock, Texas 78664. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph G. Baird and W.A. "Sleepy" Graham; a grandson, Jason Baird and a son-in-law, Charles Dickerson.
