Kilgore man guilty in cocaine case

United States Attorney John L. Ratcliffe announced yesterday that a 23-year-old Kilgore man has pleaded guilty to federal drug trafficking charges in the Eastern District of Texas.

Greggory Dewayne Williams, 23, of Kilgore, also pleaded guilty to possession with the intent to distribute and distribution of crack cocaine today before United States Magistrate Judge John D. Love.

The case against Williams started in 2007 resulting in a grand jury indictment.

Williams faces up to 40 years in federal prison and a $2 million fine at sentencing. A sentencing date has not been set.

This case is being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Richard L. Moore.
