MLMS TENNIS

Coach Dana Sneed, Maude Laird Midle School tennis team said in last Saturday's Quad Match Kilgore defeated Gladewater 11-1 in matches, but lost to Center 5-7 and to Tyler Moore 5-7. Overall in the entire quad match Kilgore won 21 matches and lost 15. Nathan Barnfield (bottom photo) and partner Chance Osteen (top boy photo) won their match against Tyler 8-6. Nathan, who recently transferred to the Kilgore schools from Australia, played six doubles won all six matches. Ashley Sanders (top photo) won her singles match 8-6 against Puja Patel of Tyler. Ashley played a total of five matches that day and won all five.Macy Grimes and partner Taylor Ward (bottom girl photo) lost their match 6-8 against Center.
