RUTH DRAWHORN

Annie Ruth Lee Drawhorn passed away April 4, 2008. At 92. Services were Monday, April 7, 2007, at the Rader Funeral Home Kilgore Chapel with the Rev. David English officiating. Burial followed in Hickory Grove Cemetery. She was a member of Kilgore First Christian Church.

She was born Feb. 8, 1916, in Kilgore. She married Casey H. Drawhorn in 1935. They had two children, Phyllis Drawhorn Richmond of Shreveport, La., and Vickey Drawhorn Steinhauser of Longview.

Ms. Drawhorn graduated from Kilgore School and later entered Stephen F. Austin State University.

Ms. Drawhorn is survived by four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren: Lauren Green, Austin Tharp.

She was preceded in death by her brother, William Hollis Lee, mother Mamie Bell Lacy Lee, and father Clause Wayne Lee.

Pallbearers were Lonnie Greene, Bubba Tharpe, Austin Tharpe, John Richmond, Mike Lee, Kyle Steinhauser and Dillon Tharpe .
