LEE ERNEST SANDERS

Graveside services for Lee Ernest Sanders, of Kilgore will be held Satruday, April 5, 2008 at 11 a.m. at New Hope Cemetery with Full Military Honors, with Pastor Joe W. Sanders, Jr. officiating. Under the direction of Cunningham Funeral Home.

Lee was the second child and son of Phil and Calnora Sanders, born Dec. 15, 1934 in Kilgore.

He graduated from Fredonia High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and learned to drive and work on big rig tractors and trucks.

He was married to Mary Lee Sanders who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Mack Sanders, and Calvin Sanders.

He passed away April 2, 2008.

He is survived by stepdaughter, Sondra Hamilton of Dallas; two sisters, Kathleen Sanders, of Kilgore, Annie Merle Shelton, of Palestine; brother, Phil Sanders, of Houston; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; aunt and uncle and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 4, 7 to 8 at the funeral home.
