Adamson makes Eagle Scout

Jesse Majors Adamson, of Boy Scout Troop 259 of Liberty City, will be completing his Eagle Scout project on April 12 and he's inviting the community to participate.

Adamson, a senior at Sabine High School, will direct a group of volunteers from the community in cleaning up a 10-mile radius of Liberty City. Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, as well as other community groups and volunteers, are invited to join Adamson.

The group will meet at the back parking lot of Sabine High School at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, April 12. Volunteers will then be divided into groups and assigned a section of roadway to clear of litter.

Lunch will be provided at the end of the litter pick-up at the high school.
