Club Au Courant views Replica of Oval Office

In lieu of the March meeting of Club Au Courant, the membership met at the Presbyterian Church and traveled to Longview to view Ron Wade's Replica of the Oval Office. Mr. Wade has worked under several Presidents and has amassed an outstanding amount of objects from their administrations. Included is a rocking chair owned by John F. Kennedy and chairs owned by Jackie Kennedy.

He is a special, lifelong friend of George W. Bush.

The tour was concluded with a visit to his memorabilia room, where he has a vast collection of campaign buttons going all the way back to Abraham Lincoln.

Afterwards lunch was enjoyed at Johnny Caces.
