WINDEL RAY BROWN

Services for Windel Ray Brown, 79, of Longview, formerly of Denham Springs, Louisiana, will be 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2008 in the Chapel Of Welch Funeral Home, 4619 Judson Road, with Dr. Charles Rosson officiating. Interment will follow at Danville Cemetery. Mr. Brown passed away on Thursday at a Longview nursing facility.

Mr. Brown was born October 19, 1928 in Van Alstyne, Texas to Fowler Ray and Dixie Faye Morris Brown. He was a Baptist. Mr. Brown was a former employee of Brown & Root Construction.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Brown of Denham Springs, Louisiana; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Penny Brown of Kilgore, Tim and Andrea Brown of Lewisville and Greg Brown of Washington D.C.; grandchildren, Stephanie Beets, Stacy Johnson, Andrew Luke and Gracie Brown; great grandchildren, Conner Beets, Tanner Beets and Zoey Johnson.
