Chic Chicks, Knights among this week's KSA winners
KILGORE SOCCER ASSOCIATION ROUNDUP

EDITOR'S NOTE: This is a roundup from last week in the Kilgore Soccer Association (KSA). This roundup comes from reports submitted by league coaches. Names are spelled here in the News Herald exactly as they are printed. Reports with no first name, or incomplete names, will not be included. All reports should have complete names listed, or they won't appear in the roundup.

Games are played Saturdays at the sports complex on Highway 135. This roundup will normally run on Thursdays in the News Herald sports section. Coaches reports are due by 5 p.m. on Monday.

You may bring them by the office at 610 East Main Street, or fax them to (903) 984- 7462. You may also e-mail them to the paper at sports@kilgorenewsherald.com . Reports will not be taken over the phone.

Under-6 girls

• Chic Chicks vs. Barcelona: For the Chic Chicks, Chloe Whipple, Madison Alford, Megan Langford and Madison Roach all scored, and Hannah Howell had an assist. Top defenders were Lexy Smith, Gracie Tharp, Erin Yancy and Hannah Howell. The team is coached by Rita Whipple and Bobby Tharp, and sponsored by Vermeer.

Under-6 boys

• Knights vs. unnamed opponent: Cristian Canchola, Karson Gee and Daniel Estrella scored. Defensive standouts for coach Jason Morris were Cody Darby, Bryce Long and Grant Reeves. The team is sponsored by Peddler's Pizza.

Under-10 girls • Lady Tigers vs. Henderson Grasshoppers: For the Lady Tigers, Jani Midkiff, Taylor Black and Rosio Rangel all scored. Jessica Stokes helped out on offense, and defensively, goalies Samantha Grey and Kayley Pyle did a nice job, as well as Alycia Ballard and Gauge Lindsey. The Lady Tigers are coached by Brad Provance.

Under-10 boys • Demons vs. unnamed opponent: Ren Reynolds, Jarred Sosa, Austin Word and Cameron Ott each scored for the Demons - Reynolds scored twice, and Word and Jacob Mobbs each had other shots on goal. Other top offensive players were Be'la Free, Jessie Savala, Kyler Yancey, Dontavin King, David Solis and Angel Perez. The Demons are coached by Mason Reynolds, Steven Raymond and Keith Mobbs, and are sponsored by C.C. Forbes.
