VEDA HICKS RANNE

Services for Veda Ranne, 100, of Longview will be ten a.m., Friday, April 4, 2008, with the Rev. Gary Orr officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Ranne died Monday March 31, 2008 at her home.

She was born Jan. 8, 1908 in Killeen. She taught school before she married in Orville Ranne in 1929. Mrs. Ranne was a 38-year member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Mrs. Ranne is survived by her daughter, Violet McElhinney of Longview; a son and daughter-in-law, Neal and Joyice Ranne of Longview; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Orville in 1984.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore Thursday evening between six and eight p.m.
