JAMES "PUG" TODD

Services for James "Pug" Todd, 75, of Kilgore will be two p.m., Friday, April 4, 2008 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Buddy Duggins and Reverend Ted White officiating. Burial will follow in Kilgore Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Todd passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2008 in Longview, Texas.

He was born November 21, 1932 in Quinlan, Texas. Mr. Todd's family moved to Kilgore in the mid 1930's. He was a 1951 graduate of Kilgore High School. He served our country in the United States Navy stationed on the USS Siboney. Mr. Todd was a 53 year member of Forest Home Baptist Church. He retired from Texas Eastman in 1992 after 37 years of employment.

Mr. Todd is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Lee Todd of Kilgore; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tena and Perry Ball of Austin, Stephanie and Milton Bennett of Oak Hill; a son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Kim Todd of Kilgore; mother, Fairer Todd of Kilgore; sister, Annell Todd of Austin, Texas; four grandchildren, Brooke Lewis of Kilgore, Ashlie Bredthauer of Wylie, Texas, Amanda Bailey of Lubbock, Jess Todd of Kilgore; two great-grandchildren, Hailee and Hunter Lewis of Kilgore; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Todd and a brother, Douglas W. Todd.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening between six and seven-thirty p.m.
