KC Agriculture Club racks up awards at Houston Livestock Show
      The Kilgore College Agriculture Club racked up several awards at the annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo March 3-6. The club was awarded the Good Herdsmanship award and walked away with Division Champion and First in Class with its cow-calf pair.

LeTourneau sponsors "Fun Run"
      LeTourneau University's Student Foundation is sponsoring a 5K and 1.1 mile "Fun Run" on Saturday, April 12, to raise funds for student characterbased scholarships. Registration begins at 8 a.m.; the run begins at 9 a.m. Cost to register is $15 per runner and includes a T-shirt.

KHS art students make a difference
      Eight students in Jacki Beane's advanced art class participated in an art project that affected the lives of orphans living in Guatemala. Ben Schumaker, founder of "the Memory Project," created this program four years ago after returning from a mission trip.
