MARY LUCY LEE BECK

Services for Mary Lucy Lee Beck, 85, of Kilgore, were Monday, March 31, 2008, at Cross Roads Methodist Church with Revs. Ralph Rudy, Jonathan Latham and Father Michael Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Ms. Beck passed away Thursday, March 27, 2008, in Kilgore.

Ms. Beck was born in Rusk County on June 25, 1922, and was the daughter of the late W. C. and Dixie Lee. She graduated from Kilgore High School and attended Kilgore College. She married the late James Beck of Rusk County. She was a devoted wife and mother, and gave generously of her time to both family and friends. Her presence will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her son, David Beck of Kilgore, her daughter, Susan Beck of Kilgore; five grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, She was preceded in death by her older brothers Francis Lee and James "Bussy" Lee.
