"Party in the Patch" benefits ETTC

April 5 marks the 3rd Annual "Party in the Patch," benefiting the East Texas Treatment Center.

Joe T. Parker, Kilgore mayor, presented Bobby Hale, ETTC executive director; and Merlyn Holmes, ETTC marketing director, with a proclamation yesterday, naming some of the activities planned for this worthy event, including the 4th Annual Oil Patch Bar-be-cue Cook- Off, Cruise Night at the Rock- N-Roll Whataburger, motorcycle show, street dance, rod run, horseshoe and 42 tournaments, live entertainment, a blood drive, arts and crafts, food vendors, tractor show, Sonic Kid's Korner, puppet show, raffles, and will culminate with the Saturday Night Dance "Disco Inferno" which will include a Soul Train Dance-Off and special guest appearance by the Village People of Kilgore.
