GWYNN GEE

Services for Gwynn Gee, 74, of Liberty City will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Three O'clock in the afternoon at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Longview. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore Monday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Mr. Gee passed away Thursday, March 27, 2008 in Kilgore.

He was born August 13, 1933 in El Dorado, Kansas son of the late Odie and Rachel Gee. Mr. Gee graduated from Hamilton High School in Hamilton, Kansas and later served in the United State Army. Mr. Gee moved to East Texas in 1977 as a Production Superintendent in the oil field and later worked as an Oil Field Consultant.

Gwynn is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jennie Gee of Liberty City; son, Greg Gee of Liberty City; two daughters, Galena Gee and Gwynda Gee, and a daughter in-law, Denise Gee, all of Liberty City; two brothers, Fred Gee of Topeka, Kansas and Kenneth Gee of Eureka, Kansas; three sisters, Nelsie Dauber of Towanda, Kansas, Esther Lewis of Eureka, Kansas and Zula Bilson of El Dorado, Kansas; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Grant Gee and sisters, Nina Beeman and Alice Lucille Gee.
