LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To Good Shepherd Medical Center - Longview, Texas

I would like to express my thanks for the wonderful professional care I received during my long recovery from A.R.D.S. A special thanks to Dr. Martinez, Dr. K. Price, and all the E.R. staff, along with the I.C.U. staff of the 5th and 6th floors at GSMC.

I strongly feel I was able to celebrate my 39th birthday March 20th because of your care. Also, I would like to say a special thanks to Stephanie Carter, for starting an internet prayer chain for my recovery. A special heartfelt thanks to all the friends, and high school classmates who took the time to rally around an old Kilgore Bulldog who needed your prayers. For every visitor, and prayer that was offered up for me and my family, words cannot express my gratitude.

To my church home, Forest Home Baptist, and my pastor, Rev. Duggins, thank you for the hours you stood over me and asked the Lord to intervene, thank you.

First Baptist Church Kilgore, First Baptist Church Liberty City, United First Methodist Hallville, and anyone else I may have left out... I am here today because of the Lord's grace.
