KILGORE COLLEGE RANGERS ALREADY PRACTICING; SPRING GAME IS APRIL 26
The Kilgore College Rangers football program, headed by head coach J.J. Eckert (center), has started its spring practice, and in fact, the Rangers will play their spring game on Saturday, April 26 at R.E. St. John Memorial Stadium at 11 a.m. There will be guest coaches for the game. The Rangers started practice on Tuesday, and have 45 players returning for the 2008 season, Eckert's second as head coach. The Rangers went 9-3 in 2007, reaching the Southwest Junior College Football Conference (SWJCFC) championship game, and finishing the year in the CHAMPS Heart of Texas Bowl in Copperas Cove, their second straight season to play in that game.
