JOHN FRANKLIN PRICE, JR.

John Price, 79, passed away Saturday, March 22.

He was born Feb. 29, 1929 in Lowell, AR. To Velma and John F. Price, Sr. He served in the United States Navy from 1950 to 1954. He graduated from the University of Houston in 1963. He worked as an accountant and corporate comptroller for 20 years. In 1984, he opened Price Insurance Agency in Longview,

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Julia and David Fonteno, sons, Tim Price and Tom Price all of Longview; seven grandchildren; one greatgrandson; sisters, Bernice Kincy, Jewell Mofley, Geneieve Mofley, Nadine Hankins, Ellen Webber, brothers, Bill Price, Clyde Price and Joe Price; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Koreen.

Services were Wednesday March 26, 2008 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home 1617 Judson Road. Interment follow ed in Oak Hill Cemetery near Henderson.
