KISD ballot positions determined

Kilgore Independent School District has an upcoming election on May 10 for two positions on the KISD board of trustees.
Yesterday, Revard Pfeffer, business manager for KISD and election officer held a drawing to determine position of names on the upcoming ballot.
David Hedrick, who will be running for place one against Derreck Borders was the only candidate to show up for the drawing.
Hedrick drew number one and will appear on the ballot for Place one in position one, Borders will appear on the ballot in Place one, position two.
Dale Henley, who will take on incumbent Terry George for Place 2, will be in position one on the ballot and George will be in position two.
Position one is now held by long-time board member and KISD board of trustee president, George Faber. Faber stated earlier he would not be seeking re-election.
Henley, who originally filed to run for Place one, changed his filing status to run against George in Place two.
The election will be held at Kilgore City Hall.
