Chadwick's celebrate the golden years

Dan and Karen Chadwick recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past May. They were married May 29, 1957 at First Baptist Church in Longview, Texas. They both are graduates of Longview High School.

Dan has been a teacher, coach, principal and administrator in several East Texas Schools. He began his career in Leverett's Chapel, Texas and worked in Kilgore and Longview schools as well. He helped start one of the first charter schools in Texas. He currently teaches part time at the Dan Chadwick Charter School in Longview. He enjoys golfing, bicycling and working out in his spare time.

Karen has worked and volunteered in several different areas in her career. She has taught ESL and worked for the Literary Council in Tyler, Texas. She has performed several Personality Workshops for educators in both schools and churches. She is currently a Sales Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics. She is also everyone's favorite resource for nutrition and natural health information.

Dan and Karen have 3 children. Their oldest is Danny Chadwick who resides in Waco, Texas and is an FBI agent. He is married to Diana and has 2 children, Zac and Stephanie. Their middle son, Bobby Chadwick lives in Longview and has worked as a teacher and a coach at several East Texas schools. Bobby is married to Kim and they have four children, Jon David, Jordan, Tawny and Tori. Their youngest daughter resides in Temecula, CA. She is an Associate Director at Camp Ozark. Debbie is married to Lieutenant Colonel Wade Priddy in the United States Marine Corps. Her children include Andy and Bailey. Dan and Karen's golden retriever, Abby, resides with them at home in Kilgore.

Dan and Karen have lived a life full of faith in God and devotion to their family. They experience a life of love and laughter every single day. It inspires all who know them. We wish them many more years of love and laughter. Happy 50th…..almost 51st anniversary!
