THEY were unable to resolve the sheriff's race at the March 4 primary so they're doing an April 8 run-off election. EARLY voting begins in about a week - March 31 - with ballot boxes (in our end of the county) at the New London Community Center and at the county's substation on Peterson Road here in Kilgore. +++ I'M writing this on Friday, the day after Boston's Celtics beat our Dallas Mavericks by four points.
