JAMES MICHAEL RIGGS

Graveside services for James Michael Riggs, 31, of Kilgore will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2008 at the Turner Cemetery, off Hwy 778 between Hawkins and Quitman, with the Reverend Thomas Ricks officiating. James died Tuesday, March 18, 2008 in Kilgore, Texas.

James was born May 15, 1976 in Dallas. He grew up in Hawkins, Texas and graduated from Hawkins High School where he was actively involved in the Theatre Club. James worked as a Precision Machinist at O & D Manufacturing in White Oak. He was a loving and devoted father and husband. James was known as an all around great guy who was extremely intelligent with a great sense of humor. James never met a stranger and was very giving to anyone in need. He enjoyed cooking and grilling for his family and friends. All who knew him will miss James.

James is survived by his wife Carla Riggs of Kilgore; two sons Zachary and Jacob; father and step-mother James and Cheryl Riggs of Mineola; mother Cynthia Parks of Dallas; five sisters Lisa, Amber, Jessica, Sarah and Tammy; grandparents Francis and Joe Tedder, Robert and Mary Tune and Derrell and Frances Hardy as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Thursday evening between six and eight p.m.
