Kilgore Intermediate School hosted its annual Kilgore Independent School District Gold Card luncheon. Attendees were treated to a meal, and fourth grade students sang several songs from their upcoming patriotic program.

If you are missing an electric motorized scooter - amybe you should ask your scooter riding child - the Kilgore Police Department may have it. They found two of them after the department's Relay for Life fund raiser at the city park last weekend.

Don't forget about the China raffled sponsored by the Texas Shakespeare Festival. Even though the Chinese government cancelled their performances, the trip is still being given away and tickets are only $50 each.

A maximum of 850 raffle tickets will be sold, so the odds of winning are fairly good.

The raffle was originally planned to help poay for the theater company's trip to perform during the Olympics. Now the trip is a fund-raiser for a terrific program that is always in need of funding.

Kilgore High School baseball and softball will be played tonight at home. And there is absolutely no rain in the forecast.

The Ladybulldogs will start JV at 4:30 p.m. with varsity to follow. Both games are at Stream- Flo Field at Harris Street park. The Bulldog baseball team will start at Driller Park at 6 p.m.

Both teams will be playing Pine Tree.
