LOIS HOPKINS NORTHCUTT
Mrs. Northcutt was born December 13, 1917 in Kilgore to the late Lee and Elizabeth "Lizzy" Hopkins. She was a 1936 graduate of Longview High School and a 1938 graduate of Kilgore College. Mrs. Northcutt worked for more than 40 years as a sales clerk for Longhorn Drug. She was a longtime active member of the Danville United Methodist Church where she served in many capacities. Lois enjoyed baking and working in the yard. She was also involved in many civic and social clubs such as the Social Order of the Beauceant, Eastern Star, Lifetime P.T. A. Member, Helping Hands Volunteer, Quilter's Group and the United Methodist Women. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Michael and Karen Northcutt of Kilgore; three granddaughters Melanie Northcutt of Longview, Sandy and husband Cory Zahirniak of White House and Beth Smith of Kilgore; five great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; three nieces; four nephews and a host of special friends. The family would like to give special thanks to Mrs. Northcutt's niece Leslye for her loving and devoted care. Mrs. Northcutt is preceded in death by her husband Robert Northcutt; parents Lee and Elizabeth Hopkins; son Stephen Northcutt and three brothers Malcolm, Weldon and Reagan Hopkins.
