Guy, the pilot, has 21 years of service and Campbell, co-pilot/ gunner, has 20 years of service. They flew the Apache here from Conroe. Captain Juan Aguilar, United States Army, company commander U.S. Army Recruiting Company of Tyler, coordinated the event. the demonstration which allowed kids young and old to see an important part of the country's military armament. Kids had their pictures taken sitting on the aircraft and holding dummy 30-millimeter rounds the aircraft used in its armament. The Kilgore College Rangerettes were on hand. Amy Mims, a sophomore and Bethany Woodring, a freshman, both from Kilgore, posed for pictures with visitors. The Rangerettes didn't get away with being put in the pi- lots seats to get their pictures taken as well. Campbell said "having the girls pose in the pilot seats is not a problem, we just have to be very careful with them getting in because the equipment is very sensitive. If they break something we won't be leaving Kilgore for a while."
