WILLIAM BARR PERRY JR.

Belton--- Funeral services for William Barr Perry Jr., 82, of Temple, were held at 11 AM Monday at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with Dr. Bernard Bassig officiating.

Mr. Perry died Friday February 29, 2008 in a Temple Hospital.

Mr. Perry was born December 26, 1925 in Panama the son of Mrs. and Mrs. William Barr Perry, Sr. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was an electrician. Mr. Perry married Linda McKnelly Thompson in 1995 in Henderson. He was a Catholic.

Mr. Perry was preceded in death by his wife Nelda Jean Perry and one step daughter Heather Smith.

Survivors include his wife Linda Perry of Temple; two sons Dr. William B. Perry III of Homestead, Florida and Frank Perry of Granbury; one daughter Nancy Perry Hale of Kilgore; two step sons Jon Stephen Thompson of Kilgore and Douglas W. Thompson of Angleton; two step daughters Tanya Travis of Deer Park and Lynn Southerland of Belton; one sister Peggy Raymond of Ft. Meyer Florida and eight grandchildren.
