GLENDA GAIL HALL REDUS
Glenda Gail Redus went to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness. She was born to Doris Bagwell Hall Hargis and William Thomas Hall on November 10, 1943 in Orange, Texas. She attended the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin, Texas and Kilgore, High School. Glenda was formerly a resident of Mathis, Texas, moving to Kilgore five years ago. Glenda had a unique love for people and everyone loved her. She had many devoted friends across the state with which she maintained daily communication by videophone despite her being deaf. She loved keeping the house for her mother with whom she lived, and working in the yard, often spending long hours cutting and trimming despite the pain she suffered from complications of diabetes. She was an immaculate housekeeper, and one of her passions was continually reorganizing drawers, closets, cabinets, and storerooms so that only she knew where everything was. Glenda is preceded in death by her father, William Thomas Hall, step-father Troy Hargis, grandmothers Cora Hall and Maybelle Dykes, grandfathers Grady Hall and Percy Bagwell, and uncles and aunts. She is survived by her mother, Doris Hargis of Kilgore, brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Lucille Hall, nephew Wayne Hall, nieces Shayla and Cheyenne Hall all of Longview. She is also survived by her daughter Pat, two aunts, a host of loving cousins. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2008 at the funeral home.
