Rusk County Pct. 1 Commissioner Bill Hale, above, brought his horse to Chandler Elementary School yesterday as part of the campus' observance of Texas Week. Hale demonstrated reining techniques and talked about horsemanship. At left, Maison Davis, a second grader at Chandler Elementary, showed off her goat roping skills yesterday at the school's Texas Week celebration.
