MARGARETTEE FULLER LAUGHLIN

Services for Margarettee Fuller Laughlin, 90, Overton, are scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, March 14, at the Cottle Pearson Funeral Home chapel with the Reverend Charles Paschall officiating. Burial will be in the Overton City Cemetery.

Mrs. Laughlin died Tuesday, March 11, at her residence in Overton. She was born August 16, 1917, in Red River County to the late John Bell Fuller and Don Pedro Mace Fuller.

She moved to Overton with her family in 1932 and was a 1934 graduate of Overton High School. She was an LVN at the Overton Memorial Hospital and also served as a Pink Lady with the Overton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Mrs. Laughlin was an avid golfer and a member of the Overton Women's Golf Association. She enjoyed traveling outside of the United States. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Overton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Mc- Clellan Laughlin, May 21, 1988; two sons, Mark Lynn Laughlin and Lt. Col (Ret.) Val Joe Laughlin; two brothers, Mace Fuller and Ras Fuller; and a sister, Loye Fuller Ford.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lana and Robert Young, Overton; a son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Ann Laughlin, Batesville, Mississippi; three brothers, Jon Fuller, Odessa, M.H. Fuller, Kilgore, and Pete Fuller, Shreveport; 8 grandchildren and their spouses, Jim and Katie Laughlin, Jeff and Angie Laughlin, Jon Alan and Margie Laughlin, Robbi and Mark Carnes, Nickie and Johnny Rhea, Jennifer and Keith LaRue, Valerie and Patrick Rushing, and Jason and Laura Laughlin; 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 13.
