Citizens asked to comment on Kilgore's Master Plan

Kilgore residents have yet another opportunity to speak out and help city officials shape the city's future.

A public meeting is scheduled 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 13 at Kilgore City Hall in Council Chambers.

The meeting is open to all and is an opportunity for the public to review the Master Plan. Citizens are asked to attend the meeting to hear a short presentation on the plan and make comments.

A hard copy of the Master Plan is available for review at Kilgore Public Library as well as at city hall.

"The Master Plan objective is to create an exciting vision for the City of Kilgore that will serve as a catalyst for generating new investment and creating additional vitality," Carol Windham, director of planning, said. "This Master Plan is a road map for the future of the community and public input is greatly needed."
