KC Wind Symphony performs Thursday

The Kilgore College Wind Symphony will be in concert Thursday night in Dodson Auditorium.

Wayne Smith, director of bands and the conductor of the Wind Symphony, said the concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. and is one of two concerts performed by the group during the semester.

The Wind Symphony is made up of a select group of musicians who are picked by audition. "This is a two- to threeyear program," said Smith.

The concert on Thursday will include contemporary and classical music performed by the 40-member wind symphony.

The concert will be dedicated in the memory of Mike Miller.
